Mission of Mercy Mobile Medical Clinic
Since May 2004, Catherine Amiot has served as the Executive Director of Mission of Mercy, a nonsectarian, nonprofit mobile medical clinic offering no cost primary health care and free prescription medications to Maricopa County’s uninsured, working poor and homeless population.
Ms. Amiot comes to her current position after 25 years in the public and private sector in Arizona, Washington, D.C. and Europe. From 1993-1997, Ms. Amiot was a senior Executive Management Consultant in the Governor’s Office for Excellence in Government, specializing in State Boards and Commissions and creating the state’s first public/private partnerships. From 1997 to 2000, Ms. Amiot served as the project consultant for Arizona’s Kartchner Caverns State Park development project. She assisted in re-writing state legislation that allowed for the creation of 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations within state agencies. As a non-profit consultant, Ms. Amiot designed and implemented a state-wide model of community-based non-profit organizations in support of the Arizona State Parks system and subsequently served as the first Executive Director of the Friends of Kartchner Caverns State Park 501(c) (3) non-profit until joining Mission of Mercy in 2004.
Upon her 1985 return to Phoenix, her home town, Ms. Amiot was the Director of Community Relations for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Phoenix. Prior to relocating to Arizona, Ms. Amiot served in the public sector as a management consultant and communications specialist with the Department of Defense in California, Europe and Washington, D.C. She was graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in English. Ms. Amiot is active in a number of community and non-profit executive leadership programs.
Susan Finn, MSN

Susan Finn completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training at Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. She has over thirty years of experience in pediatric primary/specialty care.
Since October 2005, Ms. Finn has served as the program director for the Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital of Loyola University Health System Pediatric Mobile Health Unit. This privately funded mobile unit serves as the prototype for numerous mobile health programs, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities/Care Mobile Program.
Ms. Finn is one of the founding members of the Mobile Health Providers Coalition of Chicago.
Ms.Finn is a passionate advocate for underserved children and their families. She recognizes the crucial role that mobile healthcare
plays for families who are struggling with access to necessary health care.
Richard Gesker, DMD, MBA

Dr. Richard Gesker is a graduate of Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry and Fox School of Business, earning a DMD and MBA, respectively. Following dental school training, he proudly served in the US Navy Dental Corps and was awarded medals and commendations while deployed in Iraqi and Kuwaiti. Following this service Dr. Gesker transitioned to practice director in a dental management and acquisitions company where he simultaneously provided dental care with cutting-edge technologies and implemented a practice management and care delivery model to newly-acquired practices.
Access to the latest advancements in technology, equipment, materials, and medications in the treatment of a diverse array of patients earned Dr. Gesker his DOCS Fellowship. His successful work in dentistry to improve quality of care and halt the ‘fear cycle,’ often preventing comprehensive treatment, is reflected in an article featuring Dr. Gesker in the Winter 2011 DOCS Digest publication. Dr. Gesker feels passionately about breaking such fear cycles and incorporates his past experience into his current position as Chief Dental Officer at Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care in Washington, DC. It was during his time as a Lieutenant in the US Navy and his position as Chief Dental Officer at Mary’s Center that he gained expertise in Mobile Dentistry and Public Health Dentistry.
Practice efficiency, excellent staff management, and overall patient satisfaction is prevalent at the Mary’s Center practice. Since Dr. Gesker’s arrival in 2010, accessibility and a welcoming atmosphere has led the clinic becoming a first-choice for underserved patients. Dr. Gesker oversees the affiliated mobile dental outreach program designed to fortify community relationships and the outreach mission of the March of Dimes Mama-Baby Bus.
Dr. Gesker enjoys sharing his myriad experiences with pre-dental students from Georgetown and George Washington Universities in an internship program at Mary’s Center. His passion for teaching is likewise reflected in his lecturing, publications, and recent appointment as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Pediodontics at Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry. Teaching, continued participation in the development of holistic and preventative-care oriented practices, and article publication are all current and future ways in which Dr. Gesker strives to pave the future of health care.
Community Outreach Coordinator
Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center
Francine's Friends Mobile Mammograpy

Debi Kennedy is the community outreach coordinator for Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Cancer Center is an entity of Parkview Health, the largest healthcare system in northeast Indiana with 7,000-plus employees and well over 100 years of service as a not-for-profit healthcare provider. The Center was the region's first Comprehensive Community Cancer Program accredited by the American College of Surgeons; it was reaccredited with commendation in 2012.
Ms. Kennedy has been with Parkview Hospital for twelve years; her first five years in the Neurology/Oncology unit. For the past seven years, she has served as liaison between the group of women who conceived the idea for mammography service to honor the friend they lost to breast cancer, the radiology practice that provides services on the coach, and interpretation of images.
Ms. Kennedy collaborates with Parkview's Marketing and Community Relations department, which produces outreach materials promoting the Francine's Friends Mobile Mammography program. A commitment to community outreach has resulted in building strong relationships with area businesses that host the coach repeatedly throughout the year. Some of these businesses provide free or discounted products/services as a further incentive for women who receive their mammograms on outreach effort the coach.
Ms. Kennedy is responsible for scheduling and marketing of services aboard the coach, as well as maintenance of the vehicle. The coach is on the road Monday through Friday (and many Saturdays), providing accessible mammography services at companies and community sites throughout northeast Indiana and cancer screening and prevention information at health fairs, business events, and community sites. Ms. Kennedy is dedicated to promoting the message - “the best protection is early detection”.
Glenn Lopez, MD, MPH
Onsite Health Solutions Medical Corporation
Dr. Glenn Lopez is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Department of Medicine and President of the Onsite Health Solutions Medical Corporation, specializing in mobile primary health services for industries and communities. Dr. Lopez’ work has focused mainly in finding low cost approaches to improving health in diverse low-income communities.
Dr. Lopez established 94 employer-based health programs using mobile physicians in the country of Guatemala and is presently Director of the Providence Mobile Chronic Disease Management Clinic that seeks to lower the high rates of uncompensated emergency department and hospitalization expenses due to the high prevalence of untreated diabetes and hypertension throughout the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.
Dr. Lopez obtained his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, his Family Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL, and both his Community Medicine fellowship and his Masters of Public Health in Health Services Administration from the UCLA School of Medicine and Department of Public Health respectively.

George Hayes, NCPT, CRR

George Hayes is a nationally certified phlebotomy technician, retinal technician, and professional rescuer. He received his technical degree in visual communications from Hennepin College, Minneapolis, MI in 1977.
Mr. Hayes has extensive and diverse background in technology, health care and law enforcement. He has served as Manager of the Scripps Mobile Medical unit for the past four years. He worked to create both design and operation protocols for the current mobile unit. He provides day-to-day program management and clinical services for patient care, and is a primary to emergency and disaster teams in the system and the community. Mr. Hayes also provides professional services through Scripps's professional education services, consulting in mobile operations.
Prior to managing the Scrippshealth mobile unit, Mr. Hayes worked in health care for 23 years as the Manager for Scripps Telecommunication Network, for voice and data services to 100,000 users. He worked concurrently as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for San Diego County, where he managed and operated Mobile Command One, a mobile command center for the county sheriff's department. Mr. Hayes is an Advisory Board Member for the Mobile Health Clinics Association.
