Needs assessment: This session will focus on one core concept of the Forum: health disparities ~
how-to identify, measure and describe community health disparities that can be addressed by Mobile Healthcare services.
Designing a prevention program: This session will focus on the other core concept of the Forum: prevention ~ how-to develop prevention initiatives that are relevant to a target community, appropriate for Mobile Healthcare, and that address the disparities identified in a needs assessment.
Developing inter-institutional (community) collaborations: This session will focus on the importance of community collaboration in sustaining a Mobile Health program ~ how-to identify other community-based organizations that relate to your Mobile Health program’s mission and how- to establish and maintain relationships with these organizations.
Maintaining continuity of care: This session will focus on the challenges that face all Mobile Health programs ~ maintaining continuity of care. Presentations will identify methods to optimize patient retention and ensure consistent service delivery.
Emergency response: This session will focus on the pre-existing health disparities accentuated by disasters and new disparities created by these same disasters. Presentations will describe post-disaster assessment and describe how a Mobile Health program can uniquely provide outreach and relief to victims.
Marketing your program: This session will focus on the need to constantly build community awareness of and advocacy for Mobile Health programs, irrespective of whether the programs are new or long-term. Presentation will explain how-to develop marketing plans, messages and materials; and, how-to disseminate this information effectively.

The Third Annual Pre-Forum Intensive Training Course
This full day pre-Forum Course addresses the broad spectrum of operational issues from launching to sustaining a Mobile Health program. The Course is presented by mobile healthcare specialists. The morning program offers an extensive overview of operational issues. The afternoon breakout sessions address specific operational topics such as: grant writing, developing a business plan, designing a custom health specialty vehicle, implementing EMR and patient-access electronic systems, and the application of telemedicine technology.
Mobile Health Clinics Pavilion
An exhibit display presenting manufacturers of health specialty vehicles and companies with allied Mobile Health services (vehicle financing, insurance, related software, medical/dental equipment and telemedicine technology). A wide variety of custom healthcare vehicles will be on display to tour.
